HPE server parts and Instant On networking in South Africa
Our HPE range is aimed at businesses running their own server rooms and office networks. For servers we stock parts and options such as the ML350/ML110 Gen11 tower to rack conversion kit, the DL380 Gen11 NS204i-u internal cable kit, the Ethernet 1Gb 4-port FLR-T I350 FlexibleLOM adapter and 1U rack cable management brush kits.
For networking, HPE Networking Instant On covers switching and Wi-Fi for small and medium offices. Switches include the 1830 24-port smart managed model and the 1930 and 1960 Gigabit PoE switches with SFP+ uplinks. Access points run from the AP15 Wi-Fi 5 and the AP22 and AP25 Wi-Fi 6 indoor models to the AP27 outdoor Wi-Fi 6 unit and the AP32 Wi-Fi 6E tri-band access point. To link it all, there are 1G SFP and 10G SFP+ transceivers, SFP+ DAC cables and Cat5e cables.
Choosing HPE parts and networking
Server options are generation specific, so check that a kit or adapter lists your exact model and generation, such as DL380 Gen11, before ordering. For Instant On switches, add up the PoE draw of your access points, phones and cameras and compare it with the switch's total budget (370W on the 1930 PoE models, 600W on the 1960). Use multi-mode SR or SX transceivers for short fibre runs within a building, and DAC cables for short links between switches in the same rack.
