TP-Link routers, mesh Wi-Fi and cameras in South Africa

Our TP-Link range is mostly networking. For home and fibre connections there are Aginet routers such as the EX511 (AX3000 Wi-Fi 6) and EX141 (AX1500 EasyMesh), the EC220-G5 AC1200 router, and the TL-MR100 4G LTE router for places without a fixed line. Deco whole-home mesh systems, including the Deco E4, Deco M4 and Wi-Fi 6 Deco X10 in 2-pack and 3-pack kits, spread coverage across larger homes, while RE220, RE305 and TL-WA854RE range extenders fill single dead spots.

For businesses, Omada access points such as the EAP660 HD ceiling unit, CPE220 outdoor links, PoE injectors and XPON ONUs cover the wired and wireless side. For security we carry Tapo Wi-Fi cameras, including the C520WS pan/tilt camera and the C410 solar kit, and VIGI network cameras such as the C445 turret.

Choosing the right TP-Link kit

Start with your connection. Fibre users normally need a router with a WAN port, while the TL-MR100 takes a SIM card. If one router cannot reach every room, a mesh system is usually tidier than several extenders, because Deco units share one network name and hand devices between them. Check that the Wi-Fi standard, Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6, matches the speeds you pay for.

With cameras, Tapo suits homes and is set up from a phone app, while VIGI is aimed at business systems that record to an NVR. Omada access points can be managed centrally, so they suit offices that plan to add more units later.
