Ducky mechanical keyboards in South Africa

Ducky is a Taiwanese keyboard maker with a strong following among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. Our range centres on the Ducky Zero 6108 wireless keyboard, available with Cherry MX2A switches in Blue, Brown, Red and Speed Silver, with several versions finished in white. There is also the Ducky One 2 Pro, a compact 60% RGB mechanical keyboard in white with Cherry Black switches.

For customising a board we stock the Azure and Afterglow SA ABS keycap sets, which use the tall, rounded SA profile.

Choosing a Ducky keyboard and switches

The switch decides how a keyboard feels. Blue switches are clicky with a tactile bump and suit typists who like feedback, but they can be loud in shared offices. Brown switches have a quieter tactile bump, Red switches are smooth linear switches popular for gaming, and Speed Silver switches are linear with a short actuation point for fast inputs. Black switches, as on the One 2 Pro, are linear but heavier. Pick the 60% layout if you want more desk space for a mouse and can do without a number pad and arrow cluster. Before buying keycaps, check that the set's layout matches your keyboard, especially for compact boards.
