POS PCs include a model with a Core i3, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage running Windows 10 Pro, and a Celeron model with 4GB RAM and 128GB. The SelfPOS80 32" all-in-one combines a Core i5 PC with a 2D scanner and 3" printer for self-service. For the E815 and E818 POS there are an integrated pole display and a second display for customers.
Around the till we stock a 5-note, 8-coin cash drawer with a 3-position lock and RJ11 connection, an insert tray for the CR2022M drawer, a 2D handheld barcode scanner, a USB magnetic card reader, a 4" direct thermal label printer at 203dpi and premium wax ribbons (104mm x 300m).
Setting up a PinnPOS till
Check that your POS software runs on the PC you choose and supports each peripheral. RJ11 cash drawers usually open through a receipt printer's drawer port, so confirm that your printer has one. Choose a 2D scanner if you need to read QR codes or codes on phone screens. A direct thermal label printer prints without a ribbon, while wax ribbons are for thermal transfer printing, so check which mode your printer uses before buying ribbons. Customer displays help shoppers check prices as items are scanned.
