ZKTeco access control and biometrics in South Africa
Our ZKTeco range covers what you need to control a door, from the reader to the lock. Terminals include the SpeedFace V3 Lite face recognition terminal, the SpeedFace-V5L-P with face, palm and fingerprint recognition and a 5" touch screen, the SenseFace 2A face and fingerprint terminal with Wi-Fi, the IP65 F35 standalone terminal and the ProMA outdoor face, fingerprint and RFID reader with PoE. Slave readers such as the F12 and FR1500-S add a second reading point, and the ZK9500 USB desktop reader is used to enrol fingerprints.
On the door side there are 280kg magnetic locks with LED and matching brackets, a medium-duty door closer, touch-to-exit sensors and 12V 5A power supplies with battery leads. For credentials we stock Mifare S50 hotel lock cards, UHF thin tag stickers and UHF RFID tags for ZKTeco UHF readers.
Planning a ZKTeco door
Decide first how people will identify themselves: cards are quick and cheap to replace, fingerprints remove the problem of lost cards, and face or palm recognition suits busy entrances. For outdoor doors, choose IP65 or IP66 readers or add a ProMA rain shield. Match the magnetic lock's holding force and bracket to the door frame, and size the power supply so the lock stays powered, using the battery leads for backup. Check that slave readers connect to your main terminal over RS-485 or TCP/IP as listed.
